Hello - I keep getting the following error message when I am catching crabs in VV4:

Error: Access violation at 0x0041D00 (tried to read from 0x2977E0C0), program terminated.

What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

LDW is aware of the problem with this puzzle and, from what I've read in the VV4 forum, a fix will be out shortly.

It should also be mentioned that if you're pausing the game while working on parts of that puzzle, you greatly increase the likelihood of that crash.

Thanks for this, Barbara, this is exactly the question I was going to ask - but have YOU tried sticking 2 kids on the silly things WITHOUT pausing the game...?! :(I tried for 5 nights straight and only managed ONE that way!

Actually, yes. I've completed that puzzle dozens of time and have never paused the game to do it.

There is no need at all in my view to pause the game. I've never had any problems with this puzzle either.

Good eye-hand coordination is due to luck of the genetic draw. It's not an indicator of character.
