Even when Virtual Villagers 4 The Tree of Life was released on Monday 22nd, in the previews page said that there's in "100% complete; on Beta" but now this day says that will be a Virtual Villagers 5. Is that true or just a bug or a joke? Because the LDW page has some problems (like the 503 service unavaiable)since released VV4.

I didn't get 503, but it just said "You have successfully subscribed to our newsletter..
Click here to go to our main page." after I entered my address.

I don't imagine VV 5 will appear any time soon, as these VV games must take a lot of work - so much happening in them, so much can go wrong. I'd like to think they are already working on it, though.

I also think that it's TOO soon for make the next LDW game

During a few moments, (very few!! ) some forumers thought that VV4 was the last chapter of the VV series. This preview may be the answer!!
I think that it is too early to guess what will be the next game.

Yes because LDW can always pull a fast one and release a different game before VV5.

I agree with those two. They could maybe decide to make VF2 (we all know it's coming one of these days) or maybe,as some have been asking LDW for quite some time, Plant Tycoon 2 or Fish Tycoon 2. I think LDW will continue making VV, being their most successful from my view, though.

I hope it doesn't come for another year or so! But I DO want it to come! ;D

So where does all this confusion come from? If you watched the preview video for VV4, Arthur announced that VV5 was already in development. No announced date for release yet, but that also is no surprise.

Just i was wondering about the preview.
Too early, and, about that, it's more probable to make Virtual Families 2, other game that ends with "Tycoon" (maybe butterfly tycoon, since there are a lot of butterflies in all the games).
Or better, a remake, well, that worked for Phantasy Star and Mega Man
