I have been playing the VV4 lately and I have a real issue with the fact that I have level 3 everything plus I have about 65 or so of the trophies. My problem is I'm missing 1 item to complete the science and the flutes but only have 6 fish scales. I play frequently and scope the island constantly, I keep getting the same flute or science pieces over and over. I barely get any fish scales as I mentioned (6) Finished the graveyard so to speak, Hospital done, 3 Huts, Nursery, Clothes hut.So on, plus I can't get past 95 people even though kids keep being born. Do I just sit and wait or is there something I haven't done??? On the trophy screen I have everything but finished collections all 5 skills and 5 skills nursery hit 100 ppl.Can't tell you much more if you need more info let me know..

Me too! My population is maxed at 95, I have all 16 puzzles,all 3 levels of each technology but I am missing 1 flute, 2 scales and 2 mausoleum pieces and its been the same for 3 days now

Anyone know why my pop would be maxed at 95? I have seen some people mention having over a hundred...

You get 5 more population for each collection you complete. If you complete all three remaining collections you will get 15 more people. I am still waiting to complete my fish scales and have 105 max pop at present

Actually, there is an extra bonus of five more peeps for completing all four collections, so there is a maximum population of 115. It's also possible to get 117 if the last birth turn out to be triplets.

Wow. I'm still at only 6 fish scales so stuck at 105. All the fish scales keep being dupes.

I am only missing 1 lab collectible and 3 fish scales. . . And I scan the island basically the whole time I am playing.

I have been playing for almost 50 hours too.

I still play constantly and starting to get annoyed now still short 1 flute and 6 fish scales.

I've been playing since day 1 and am getting a little frustrated myself. I still need 3 scales, 1 lab gear and 1 mausoleum piece. I finished the 'game' several days ago and just working on the trophies as it were. I only get an average of 3 scales each low tide and they are always duplicates. I haven't gotten a new piece in several days now and I got my next to the last piece of the mausoleum 2 or 3 days ago.

I would like to increase my tribe to get the 'big' trophy of 100 people, but, without one of the collections being finished that isn't possible.

I DO love the nursery school on vv4. Some of the rug rats don't learn much, but others do, so it's a nice change for vv, even though this was done on a similar game, so nothing new in this type of game.

Out of 5 stars I would give the latest virtual villagers a 3 1/2.
