I wonder if I'm one of the first Mac people to get this game. I've got it loaded on my G4 iBook just fine. However, I tried to load it onto a new MacBook Pro that my partner and I share (since it's the best machine in the house) and it bombed after registration.

Since we have two user names on the MacBook Pro and we were logged in under her user name and the game is registered in my name, could that have created the crash? We have two user names on the iBook too but it was logged in under my name.

Did you get it from us, or from elsewhere? I ask because our version uses a 'full version' and some other sites selling it use a 'registration code' system for protection.

Got it through MacGameStore which uses a registration. I've used it before on games like Diner Dash and Mystery Files and managed to load up games on both machines.

The error message is "The application Fish Tycoon quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple."
