I'm also having the same problem as MissyChellez. Everything goes well and does as it should until the berries. My berry bush is empty so the only way to harvest any is to cut them with a tool but when I do this, the villager takes the berries to the food bin rather than the stew.

I even tried keeping my villagers away from the berry bush so they could re-grow, but they aren't anymore (they did earlier on in the game, but they don't anymore).
