I don't want lots of tips or spoilers, but I've just started the game and have a very weakened player. Is there a stew for healing?

Yes there is one that makes them healthier.

Is there a way to get a villager to feel healthier without peeking at a spoiler? One of my Master Scientists has a current health status as weakened. He was healthy 1/2 an hour ago. Having the local healer didn't help... they just embraced and I don't want anyone "with child" right now as there's lots of work to be done. Will leaving him alone lead him to certain death?

Change his job to be a farmer, being a scientist harms them.

Thanks Hav, I'll give that a try as he's already an adept at farming and nearly a master builder as well. He'd been building for hours before I set him back to research because I'm in need of more tech points.

Havoria is right! You may also put them on the food bin for eating, several time!
