Village Sim for Desktop will be called Virtual Villagers!

It has not been easy to commit to a new name, but we felt it was necessary for various reasons. We chose this name because it represents what the game is really about -- the Villagers themselves.

The forums will show both names to try to reduce confusion.

On a side-note, we are more than 90% done, we are adding new puzzles, and beta is fast approaching. We are definitely having fun working on this one, and we hope you guys have even more fun playing it!

I quite like the new name. I can imagine that the 'Sim' bit might have got you into some hot water from EA/Maxis so in the circumstances it's understandable that you had to make the change.

Of course you could always have taken a leaf out of the Japanese book of doing things (Pokemon=Pocket Monster and Famicom = Family Computer) and called it Vim...

Please, please, please can I be part of beta again - this has to be my favourite game on my Palm and I can't wait to see the PC version.

I'm soooooooooo happy my computer is a laptop, and I'll be able to tote the Virtual Villagers everywhere with me! I've not played the Palm version, so this will be all new and wonderful!!! Can't wait!!!!!!

Woohoo! I thought I missed it! Have been away on training for 3 weeks.

Lets hope you guys will be doing beta testing after 14th June cuz I will hate to miss it!
