You know how when the peep dies, it's picture on the family tree fades? Well, the adult one does, and not the child one. Isn't that strange? Does this mean that their inner child is still ablaze?

Look very carefully, both children and adult pictures fade when the person dies.

It's not faded in the least! She was my favorite character, so I guess it makes me happy to see her in child form, still enjoying peeking at groceries, and playing with toys, being jealous of the 'new baby'...
