I opened my game and I saw that all was gone all huts destroyed and the sharks were back and all puzzles lost and back to unsolved shocked cry shocked cry confused

Here are my first 3 pics I send more in next post showing what happened to my tribe. At least I saved back ups from my lap top I sold awhile just in case I needed them. Before I pasted my backups I took the screen shots. I will post the others soon.

That is a bug that wasn't discovered until after the game had been released. It is discussed in the forums, and we have a Support FAQ answer about it, as well. The tribe isn't wiped out, and progress can be regained.

I wouldn't be too sad when this bug would strike my game though ... just think of it, there was a major storm and the village needs to be rebuild again, just amagine there's a lot of fun in it, new builders to be trained, the new generation who has to solve the puzzles the ancestors made before them ... COOL
laugh

Makes me wonder ... isn't this a cool option to build in the next VV's? wink

I've thought about this as well. It might be an event to include in a future version of VV. However, I think that only one of the construction projects (the bath, the statue, one of the huts, and so on) should be destroyed and need rebuilding. Otherwise I think it would be too severe. It should also only happen when the game has been played for some time, with all the puzzles completed and the population close to or on the maximum.

Yes, I think events like that happening when the game is at the point of becoming less interesting, since everything is (almost) done, gives a nice twist at the end and starts over the fun, it would extent the game in an unexpected way ... A lot of hooked players, me included, would like this very very much grin

I agree. It would be fun to have to redo everything without having to start a new village. If the floor in VF can become cracked again, why not have huts fall into disrepair? laugh I don't think I would mind this bug happening to me. smile
