HI, It's been awhile since I was on this forum, but I still play the iPod touch version. smile

I've got a situation where the older child is in college, and the younger is at home, alone. Parents just died.

If I opt to keep the inheritance with the younger, he could run out of money before college. The program continues to not increase the bank account appropriately as years go by (it remains about the same).

I could choose the older child to inherit, but then the younger one will vanish.

Is there any plans to let a younger sibling continue to live at home until college years, if you choose an older sibling as heir?

And will they update the bank feature so that there is more money in the bank? I'm not really good with numbers, but even I can see that there's no change in the account or salaries, over the years, even though it should be adding more income.

Thanks. I've been reading other threads, and it's amazing some of the mysterious things that happen, even on the iPod version.

thanks,

If both parents have passed, then there is no income flowing into the bank account, as there is nobody working in the house.

If you would like to chose the younger one, but do not want to take the risk of the money running out, you can select a new generation now, and the younger child will be at an appropriate age to inherit automatically.

Although the younger child can't work, he can still pick up collectibles. Selling duplicates online can result in a moderate income if you play the game fairly regularly and keep an eye open for them.

His outgoings will be reduced to paying for enough food for him alone, plus possible medical costs and maybe some events or emails that take money. 'Good' events and emails that pay money tend to balance out the 'bad' ones over time.
