iv started over a lot, because my fish keep dying and iv never gotten over $350. any suggestions as to what i should do? im stumped. ps-im using the fish tycoon u can find on addictinggames.com, not the kind u have to buy

If you're playing the free Flash (online) version, you won't be able to get all of the things in the game that would help you successfully breed all of the fragile hybrids (and most of the Magic Fish). That game is really intended to give you an idea of what Fish Tycoon is like, similar to a demo version. You can play the game for a long time, though, if you breed only the common species of fish, since they will thrive in the Fish Environment that's available in that version of the game. Some of the common fish sell for decent prices, and you can make pretty good money that way.

well, iv gotten two of the 7 by chance, one i got in a common egg, the one i bred by chance i had to sell really quickly because it was dying. so there's no chance of me breeding other fragile fish and having them live? and id like to know how to make money and keep my fish alive that i have bred, the only one that successfully lived were the fruitfish.

Only the common fish will remain healthy - those are the fish that you can get from common eggs. If you breed only those species of fish, they will live. Common fish are the Beta, Fatfish, Fruitfish, Shark, Spotanus, and Stickfish bodies with Greenfin, Orange, Pink, Silky, Spined, and Twin-Fin fin types. Those combinations won't lose health and die in a Level 1 Fish Environment. Good luck!

If you cross-breed those fishies (breeding fishes that aren't the same kind), for example a Beta and a Stickfish, you will get a fragile hybrid. Some fin combinations may produce fragile hybrids as well. It's always safe to breed identical fishies (same bodies, same fins) in a Level 1 Fish Environment.

At this time the game is only available online. There are many places to buy the game, but you should really try the demo first to make sure that it runs properly on your computer. You can download a free trial from LDW's Fish Tycoon for Windows Page.

I've found that if I breed the sharks and the spotanus's together you get goldbulbs which sell for about $20 ea. that is how I start out by making money. I have recently found all 7 magical fish(with help from spoiler lists) also keep track of each species you create...it will definitly help you later...I have a full tank of Canary Fire-Arrows and Orange Snookers, I average about 1,000 for each tankful I sell. This was after playing almost nonstop for a whole weekend plus some....oh, and it really helps later on to have the second tank...just keep breeding and experimenting...I'll let you learn the rest on your own...Spoilers REALLY help alot!!!!!

err. the demo didnt work, would it work if i downloaded the whole game?

If the demo doesn't work, the unlocked version won't either. That's why I always recommend installing the trial before buying the game.

What kind of problem are you having with the demo? There are some things that you could check to see if you could get the game to run.
