I have run into an issue with two of my families. They are, in essence, no longer experiencing game events. Both individuals are in their mid-to-late 30s and have yet to receive a marriage proposal.

To be clear, it isn't as if they received one and it was rejected so I have to wait for the next one - they have not received one at ALL at age 35 and 38, respectively. The "New Generation" bar is also still highlighted under the Family tab as if I never moved to the next generation.

I've been playing with these families since the game was released, so a lot of time has been spent on them from generation to generation. I'd hate to lose them due to a runtime error because I've taken so long to obtain all of the trophies.

Is there anything I can do?

Well There has been a problem with the 30th+ generations if you are on those. There are similar posts. Reminder: Try looking in the search box before bring it up again grin

It does sound like you have reached the 30th generation in those families. To see if that's the source of your problem, you can find more discussion about the problem here in the Virtual Families forum and here in the Technical Issues forum.

If you haven't reached the 30th generation, I can provide information about other possible causes.

Thank you for your help, LadyCFII. I'm reading the other threads now and will hope for a fix.
