Is it possible to still get island events if the only villager left on the island is the GC? Was hoping to get a crate of babies, but no luck in a while.

Unfortunately, Island Events won't happen in a village that contains only children. Since the GC never ages, that's going to be a problem. Several people have let such a game run for a very long time, without seeing any events.

I have a game where everyone passed on xcept the GC...it has been running for a couple of months I think with no event

too bad he can't harvest them
