Hey, I try to get the key after the fire been out. I got my villager to get water to pour over the key. But i kept doing it and it said it too hot... No matter how many time i keep getting villager to pour water over key. Is there something that I am making mistakes or anything?

It takes a lot of water to cool the gem. If you have kids in your tribe, allow them to carry the water - they're faster at it.

I just solved this puzzle myself this morning. It takes a quite a few bowls of water. I didn't think to use my kids I have a runner and they did most of the work. Keep dumping water on it and you will be able to retrieve it sooner or later.

i alredy solved this puzzle in my first tribe.... but i kind of did it by accident, b/c i didnt purposely leave my fire burning for 60 hours...

i have a second tribe tho and ive tried to keep it burning for 60 hours but i dont remember wen i started this...i c sparks coming out of the fire and wen i drag someone onto the waterfall it says that they r putting out the fire, but i am not sure if tht means that the gem will def be there cuz i dont think its been 60 hours yet... im afraid to put it out and find no gem and hav to start over...

Does anyone kno wat i shood do? Will the gem be there if i put it out?

I don't think you should continuously burn the fire for 60 minutes. I'm working on my 3rd and 4th tribes and every now and then the fire burnt out, cause I was waiting for stg else on the other tribe. But still, after some time the sparkles showed up, I put off the fire and got the gem. Never counted how many hours though.

You are supposed to let the fire burn out and then get the villagers to cool it down from the water fall.

You don't need to wait until it burns out for itself. You can distinguish the fire with water, then cool the gem with water, and take the gem.

In my first tribe, I wondered what the sparkles meant for a long time, but I saw the gem only after I accidentally forgot to feed the fire. But for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th tribes I didn't wait that long; I put off the fire right after spotting the sparkles, and it worked fine.

So, does it have to run 60 hours continuously? I have been playing for a week and the fire isn't sparkly and they won't get water to put it out. Adding firewood and grass doesn't add anytime to my fire.

No, not continuously. Or at least not for mine...
