I've been playing the game for a couple months now. Things are pretty easy to figure out, though I've hit some hitches here and there.
I was looking through this forum and seen screenshots of some peeps houses with snow on the ground and really nice new deco in each room. In one of my families games I have done every upgrade but I don't have any of those! I really want them!

Is there anything special I have to do to get all of the awesome home upgrades? Right now I have all of the original upgrades for the kitchen, workshop and office with about $35k in the bank.

They are modifications to the games images, and are common in ldw games. See the Virtual Families Mods forum section for more information.

SO let me see if I have this right - everyone is changing the look of their homes on their own? If so how would I got about that? Maybe I'm just retarded but I can't find just how to do it! LOL
