This might seem a little silly, but I couldn't find the answer when I did a search, so here we go. I'm wondering: When you click the "Start Over" button, does it start the selected family from the first generation or is it just the current generation?
I'm a little confused.

I would think that it wipes out all the generations in that player slot, taking you back to start a new first generation.

It completely resets the game slot. It would be as though you had never played in that slot before--no previous generations, no upgrades, no repairs, no collections, no trophies.
