The DVD's will make everyone gather in family room to watch a movie (Well usually everyone, I have a Mother who always goes to do a chore when a DVD is played)

Or, if you have the pool, you could throw everyone in there. It is kind of fun to see them all floating around.

What I do is buy a DVD and some candy, and after they've finished watching the DVD, I give them some candy on the way to do what they want to do.

Or let mom and dad tell the children a story, they all rush to the livingroom and sit down in front of the table, after that the parents tickle the children and they can have their beloved giggle-party
