the statue is now up on the path as you can see in the screenshot , but when i drop the chief on it it never says "directing work"
it says "proud of the tribe" or "inspecting food" or anything not related to the statue , although it's written down that he "sees the fallen statue" and now all the builders left and they refuse to work on the statue because there is no leader
what can i do ? help me please!

ok i read the thread , i think i have the version problem
i don't have the version .04

so ,is the only solution to download the new version ? i because i have a problem in downloading on my computer , so i do not think i will be able to download it soon !
so any other options or solutions i can try ??


and if i am going to download the .04 version , how can i do it without losing my progress in the game or losing my tribe ?? should i download it to the same folder where the older version is? or download it anywhere and then while installing it will just replace the old one? please tell me because i am not experienced in the downloading and installing and similar stuff !!! and sorry for bothering !

You can still finish the statue puzzle without downloading a new version. The first paragraph in my reply in that thread tells you how to get around the problem:

The post I linked to contains a link to Arthur's post with details about the 1.00.04 update, including a link to download the update from us. Be careful, though, and read the note carefully. The process you need to use depends upon where you purchased the game. Downloading and installing the updated version should not cause a problem with your game as long as you download the update from the same site where you purchased it.

It depends upon where you purchase it. We always have the latest version on our site.
