I no longer have any female villagers under 50 years old, and I'm three puzzles from completing the game! Is there anyway to get any young female villagers without relying on random island events?

I tried using a fertility potion on the youngest female villagers (50 years old) and a young-ish male (36) but still nothing. Any ideas?

All help is appreciated, thanks.

Once your tribe is in that situation, the only way to continue is to hope for an Island Event to bring some young females. Females who have reached age 50 will never produce children, even if you use a potion.

The best thing that you can do is to put your game on slow speed and check it often to increase the number of events that you get. Don't pause the game or you will miss events.

Thanks for your help, I'll try that. How often do events come, and can they only happen when logging in? I mean, will they not happen if I keep the game running?

They will happen when you keep the game running. The timing of the events is random, and they will typically occur once or twice a day.

Okay, I had a perfect tribe until all the women died out. The men worked, got food, and when there was only 1 person left, he messed around with a crystal and got an evil twin. Then a guy came in a canoe. The twins died, and the canoe person got his evil twin. Then another canoe guy came. The twins died. Now I just want a big tribe again. Any ideas on how to get more villagers?

Your only hope is another island event. As you've found, most of the events that give another villager will just clone an existing villager or bring you another male.
Click to reveal..
There is however, the 'barrel o' babies' event that might happen - you get a number of kids (all aged 10 if I recall correctly) show up in a barrel, although you'd have to wait a while for any girls to grow up. Even then I suppose it is possible that you won't get any girls. I hope not!
