To the team of LDW,

Is there a possibility of an specified date of the release and maybe not promises?A few more screenshots would do good for the impatient ones and i will be pleased to see that the LAST DAY OF WORK @ team would not be introvert to the forums and the members.I have seen that it has been a month and two weeks since progress is made to the progress bar.
Therefore,conclusively,i will like to see screenshots or the release date to be posted on the forums and wish for LDW to be exposed to forums.

(P.S-I do not have any intentions of any discriminations or force in efforts.Please laffole any anger done)

I've been involved with software development (not the actual programming, though) for several years and know from experience that developers will rarely commit to a deadline for the release of new software. Those that do give such a date often find themselves having to either extend the deadline or release the software with unfixed known bugs. As Arthur says, he won't know himself until just before the actual release. I'm afraid we'll have to be satisfied with "a few more weeks yet".

I do agree that a screenshot or two would be nice, though.

I suppose to ask 'how long is a few' is like asking how long is a piece of string? Pointless really.

I do understand those people who get a little frustrated with constantly hanging on though. Although I no longer live by the rules I was taught - life's too short to follow time it's not much comfort for those who believe a 'Few' is more than two but less than half a dozen. Most would be happy with a very rough estimate. that way if it's any sooner it's a lovely surprise, but any more and it's a case of "I've waited this long, another week or so won't make much difference"

Patience for all things worth it really is a virtue. I'm sure it will all be more than worth the effort of waiting. Once it's here you'll barely remember the wait.

I second that. Also lets not forget: This is about a game people!! There are no lives at stake here.

Maybe more screenshots are giving away to much of the game and therefore maybe LDW tries to finish the game, bugfree, ASAP.

Lets be patient and check every once in a while, pressure won't work, thats no fun! We all know this team is working like crazy to get the job done

Im trying to think back to the other VV's lol and wondering if everyone has been this excited before??? I know I was but seems like everyone is really looking forward to this one especially

I think, instead of worrying our fool heads off about when the game is going to come out, we should think about the fact that LDW doesn't really have to tell us anything. Quite honestly, they could just drop the game in our laps out of the blue with no build-up, no excitement or forewarning.
Even though it drives a few people batty to have to wait when it's rightthereohmygoodnessIcanalmostseeit!!!!!.... I think everyone would agree that it's nice to have something to look forward to.

Im not worrying about it, just very excited! I think LDW games are brilliant and look forward to playing them! But do realize the work that is put into one of these games! So I agree WTG LDW you guys rock

I never considered it before I read this, but the Virtual Villagers games are the ONLY games we have, that every member of our family plays and enjoys. When VV4 is released it'll be put onto our 3 computers and we'll all be playing it at the same time. Would be funnier if hubby's pc was in the same room as mine and our son's

I'm wondering if we'll get another video as the release gets closer.
