That's what I think, too. Why would they release on Christmas and deal with installation probs when they have a beautiful little baby to spend Christmas with.

I agree, although I can't help wishing LDW would at least tell us whether or not they're PLANNING to release VV4 by Christmas (or at least the end of the month :S)

No...having it for Christmas really would be pushing it, I know wink I'd just be interested to see if they have a very rough idea at all; even something as vague as 'we're aiming for a release sometime in January' would be nice smile

I don't know if they could give you even an estimate. We don't even know if the game is in beta testing and then they would have to fix things that the testers find.

I know everyone is dying to get their hands on the game, especially those who are off from school during this period. We can wait a little longer.

Here's a tissue for everyone! It can be used to wipe away a tear or it can be used to wipe away the drooling.

I forgot about the forum and it's almost midday. I didn't really think the game would be out yet, but I was hoping smile

I shall content myself with studying the lone screen shot.

Yes, I think there will be a puzzle to do with clearing away those rocks and diverting the course of the water. Does that "sandy bed" right beside the waterfall remind anyone else of the vegetable garden in VV2? Maybe those bowls will be used to carry the water to the garden, or to harvest the produce. Or maybe they're another "collecting" item similar to the ones we had to collect in VV3 to do the first restoration of the alchemy lab.

I think that tree branch looks diseased, and suspect we'll either have to cut it off, or scrape all those yucky things off and treat it so it becomes healthy again. That DOES look a bit like a moat around the tree, so whoever said they think we'll have to divert the water so it surrounds the tree might be onto something.

I haven't seen anyone mention that branch lying on the ground in front of the tree - it's covered with mushrooms or lichen. I'm guessing that will be one of the plants we'll have to study, and maybe use for stews. I'm wondering if the orange bulrushes below the waterfall are also plants for study and stews.

That big hole in the tree trunk looks inviting, and is it my imagination, or are those steps hewn into the rocks above the "vegetable garden" area? And I'm curious about the bamboo poles right at the bottom of the picture - do they belong to a hut, or to some invention that must be made or repaired?

It's amazing how the imagination works - I can see the potential for 8 different puzzles just in that one screenshot alone smile (though I'm sure some of those are just wild, wild guesses)

think the fungus covered branch u mentioned is a dead branch, and the "fungus" is just the dust from a villagers steps, also that root/branxh looks like a major part of the tree, so i dont think we'll cut it off- i could be wrong.
