That is what Anki was saying, but I believe that, like many forum members here, English is not Anki's first language. smile

Oh, please...say it isn't so!! I LOVE VF and wouldn't like to think there won't be another version coming! Wouldn't it be great if a child "looking for daddy" could actually find him? LOL

"don't you meen they didn't get the response"

Mean, not "meen." And it's mean to correct someone else's English when it is not their primary language. If you do so, please check your own spelling and grammar first.

What do you mean by "Didn't get that respnse?" Virtual Families is considered the second most successful game ever produced by LDW after Virtual Villagers 3. VV3 stands on top and VF seconds it. Then what is the reason for not making VF2 yet?

Shahidecc, I think you mean VV4, but yes, VF is the second game of their top 5 games. I take it that that means, while it's not the very top, it's still very popular.
I see no reason why they wouldn't make a VF2.

No Cherrydrops, I am not talking about their list but i am talking about official list. I read somewhere that Virtual Families is a SUPER HIT game by LDW which stands second after VV3.
VV4, & VV1 were written HIT and VV2 was written AVERAGE.

I think they will probably come out with a VF sequel, just takes time. I hope they make some changes in the sequel. It would be nice to see for instance, the father get to "change baby's diaper" or to see someone feed the baby. It would be nice to see some interaction also with the pets, feeding or playing with them. Seems a waste to spend money on a pet and not do anything with them.

I agree with you. I think they should created a sequel for Virtual Families. They should have schools, shopping centres, park for them to exercise etc... in the vicinity of the our virtual home and we can actually choose where we want them to go and we can monitor them and decide what they do in those places. If they exercise daily, after a while, we can actually see their tummies getting smaller. We can choose who will go where (e.g. The mother will go marketing, the father will go exercing and their children will watch television at home. If the mother is is carrying her baby, she will bring the baby along with her to the supermarket. If the mother is pregent she will either go marketing, shopping centre or sent her sons and daughters to school and will not be able to go exercising. They should allow us to choose the design for our virtual home. Start with an empty house with white wall and then we will choose what colour we want for the wall. They should also let us upgrade things like toilet bowl, bath tub, shower head, queen size bed and I do not know whether this is in Virtual Families, if it is not yet in Virtual Families, why don't they allow us to buy beds for our children and let us choose the design of the bed we want. They should also have some children favourite characters bed and maybe they should allow us to buy mug of children favourite characters like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse tc... Even for the queen size bed, they should have designs like flower, marine animals, animals, all kinds of shape (organic or geometric). I hope all of you will like my idea. They should also allow us to choose the television program each of the family members watch and different age group will watch different show. A 9 years old child will not be able to watch a very violet show. For each items (Home improvement andCareer Room upgrade), they should have more designs available and categorise each item (e.g. All those design of television will go under the group call television. That will it will be neater.)Thank you. laugh

I also hope for a new version of VF with new friends to adopt, a different home and many new things to buy from the store and lots of new upgrades for the home.

We have a Developer Feedback Forum for that purpose, which has a Virtual Families Suggestions topic in it already.

It may not be apparent from our Web presence, but we are a tiny independent game studio with a handful of people doing all of the work, and that feedback forum is where we look for game suggestions. Our Customer Support (Heather) is for getting help for sales and technical issues.

Hi, are we ever going to see a Virtual Families 2? I'm sure if a follow on game were made (as with virtual villagers) it would be just as popular. I love Virtual Families and still play it. At the moment i am playing V V 5 as well....Thanks

I read this long ago, and I think its amazing what good games you are able to put out! I'm really impressed with the detail, and the range of actions the little peeps have. So, I remind myself of this when I wish for "just a little more" of this or that.

It's been over two years now since Virtual Families came out. Is there ever going to be a Virtual Families 2?

Earlier in this thread, LadyCFII posted links to the appropriate area for suggestions. smile We'd really appreciate it if all future suggestions are placed there for easy retrieval if needed. In accordance with that, I'll be locking this thread.

Zippie, as LadyCFII states here, the Previews area on the main LDW website is the official page to see what's coming next. We don't talk about game plans other than what is posted there smile

Thanks! laugh
