I thought this was kinda funny and i can't believe i never thought of this before. Here i was breeding orange bananafish for 22$ a pop in 3 tanks and i had 2 greenfin spotanous then it just hit me, what the heck am i doing, two of the same species make the same species. So this is what i did... These im selling for about 55$ a pop, i might try to go higher now that i have a "couple" to spare.

Is there a specific place we should post stuff like spoilers, i don't want to ruin it for new people, but at the same time i love to share my progress and see others. How do we go about this!?

Keep increasing the price... and when you have money do research on advertising so you can increase the price more.

I keep increasing the price with each tankful I sell until I reach a point where no fish will sell, then I go back to the last price that fish sold.

I just spent like 6 hours trying to get that fish, and had no luck. I hear hes quite a seller Time for a different game for awhile, ill be dreaming about fish with sparkles falling from them...

im still boggled that these little girls can come in and buy speckled leaffish's and oriental goldbulbs at 105 and 130$ a pop. I wish i had their allowance growing up.

i'm new what's the fastest way to get money with no magic fish

With no magic fish, id say breed goldbalbs or fruitfish (look like tigers). Im not an expert by any means but that is what i used. And i would purchase a couple sets of low eggs to try and get the first magic fish, because it makes each fish hatch 2 babies instead of one. Allows you to grow a lot quicker even if your selling low priced fish, its still more money. Try to breed same species together until you research fish environment later on. Otherwise the babies will probably die. Fin type wont really matter in the beginning as long as they are the same type of fish you should be ok with them staying alive. Does that help any??

Village Monk - you can usually sell the greenfin spotanuses for about $72 a pop give or take $2, so go higher than the $55 you said, it really helps.

As i showed in another post, i wanted to see the max price i could get for my magic fish, which i have all of now. You can go higher than 72 on the spotanous

Are you serious? After a good days play of selling fish at low rates, slowly increasing, ie $10, $25, $45, $70, $120, $300, $600, $1,000, I have really brought my prices up.
I can sell any fish for $1e+40 now. All I have done is research advertising level two, bought the shell and the pagoda, and sold my fish like mad. I have infinite money now.

Why does no one else seem to have reached this status?

I have found that the Greenfin Spotanus sells for $86 (with advertising still at lvl 1) relatively reliably

When I was playing Web Version at Yahoo!Games I got 2 spotanuses but from then on i had never had anymore. Then I kept buying common fish eggs until they gave up and gave me a greenfin spotanus :P

Am I wrong, or aren't there two fish that are not breedable by anything other than 2 of the same parent? PS - if this game had been around when I was growing up perhaps I wouldnt be in a maximum security prison right now.

When I didn't have lvl 2 environment and only one greenfin spotanus I made a living by breeding orange leaffish but now I have sold all of them. my next task is to find all the species

You can do money much more easy like that.

I just keep starting the game until I have a twinfin fat and breed it to the orange fruitfish and sell the offspring for $40 for a few rounds until I can buy everything and get all environment/food/advertising. Then breed the offspring back to the orange fruit for $99 fish to get more money

if u want cheats do wacky breeding and go to your control panel and go ahead time 2 3 hours that should be a money maker i have 19,000$ 100$ and 60$
