I was trying to hold off to marry someone with the same career since I don't have that trophy yet but after rejecting about 5 men she was like 35 and getting to old yo have a baby so I just married her. Now she is 45 and her hubby is 43 and still NO kids! I gave to sag out of I think 17 generations now this couple and my last were EXTREMELY BORING! My last only had one kid and now I don't think my current peeps will have any.

I was thinking of starting all over because I still need 2 picture pieces and 2 bugs and haven't found anything new in several generations now and it is getting boring. If I'm going to have to do that anyway since there will be no one to adopt should I just do it now and give up on my current peeps?

Unfortunately, if the current generation does not have offspring, the game will end when they pass away.

When I get to the point where I don't have to worry about the family's bank account, I dose both parents with Baby Boost before each attempt to have a baby. I don't know if a doctor's consultation would have suggested the BB, but I reckon it can't do any harm. If you're as far enough in the game to have only a few collectibles to find, it's likely you won't have to worry about money, either.

It seems to work with me, as I've never had any families yet fail to produce any children, even if a couple of times the mother was in her late 40s before producing the first child. The oldest mother to have a baby for me was 51, but I/ve seen reports of 54 in the forums.
