Oh noooo..... I'm finding it almost impossible to train new builders since there's really nothing to build (unless I missed something) so my minimum time is 10 hours!!! Noooo!!!!!

If I'm remembering correctly, you train the new builders by

setting their preferred work to building and keep putting them on the statue until they have Trainee status. And if you see them walking away, put them back on it. There is a cutoff on how many villagers can work on it at one time. I got impatient and put as many as it would allow me to and the job eventually got done. Also, keep your chief healthy.

Unfortunately, that won't work, MissKathy. Builders cannot work on the statue until they are at least trainees. They can be trained by fixing huts or by exercise, though.

Actually, just click "Building" as a preference. I did that and one of my little dudes exercised all on his own and gained some construction skill! I guess that's better than making "steroid potions" lol
