I've actually been playing this game for a while now and have five families going at the same time. In most of these families I am on my 30th generation and they are all multi billionaires!! The majority have been able to have six children and I also have several adoptions among them. Two of the goals I haven't met are the one having to do with the 'stinky fish' and the Latte (or Capuccino) one.

This may be 'cause I need another version or an update - haven't been willing to do this 'cause I've grown attached to my little charges '~} I was willing to live with not accomplishing those two tasks, but now I'm facing a more difficult challenge. Two of my new generations - two separate games and families, one a male one a female - have gotten no marriage proposals!! I was being really patient thinking this was just one possible random event and that maybe if I just waited it would happen. However, years are going by and they are now in their 30's (started off in early 20's) so don't think it is happening. Especially since, on looking more closely, I noticed that the details indicate that they have six children each! They don't have any children.

I need to figure out how to update, etc. these two games since they won't be elgible for adoption if the program thinks that they already have six. I don't want to affect my other three ongoing games, however, since I have put a lot of time and effort into them.

Any suggestions? I noticed that a few other people had problems with the no marriage proposal thing. Wonder if those people also had 'six children' listed under details.

Any advice and help would be aappreciated. I don't have any idea how to update, etc.

This is an addendum to my previous comment/request. I just returned to my five ongoing games and it was time to start a new generation again. After choosing an adoptee, I looked at details and noticed that again the details section said that she had children - the same number as her parents had - four in this case. Then I went through the generations in all of my games/family lineages and found that the 3 games giving me problems - with mistakenly saying the single person has children plus no marriage proposals - each are in the 31st generation. Is there a limit to how many generations you can have - perhaps I have hit it?

I'm not sure as I haven't ever done any updates and am not sure which version I have - purchased a few months back from Real Arcade. There have been a few other flukes during my time playing - such as not having any access to completing the 'smelly fish' or Latte trophies. Also . . . at times weird things happen, two examples: at times the family members will not go into the hammock claiming that someone is in it (like a have ghost, lol), and one family completely lost the remote control in the first few generations (believe me I have looked high and low for this). That remoteless family has done fine with dancing, listening to radio, reading to the children, swimming, etc. for entertainment. There have also been times when the family members 'float' across the screen - only seems to happen to ones who are over 50.

Speaking of age, I think that it is really weird that the family members slow down to a crawls pace at age 55 and that, despite organic food, plenty of excercise and rest, the oldest member has only reached age 61. I know that you have to have the parents move on so that you can start the new generation, but how about something less morbid and more creative - like have them go on a European tour or go back to school or move to Florida (or Hawaii). Maybe this could be an idea for the next version of the game. After all, some of us players are in that 'death age bracket' (I am almost 58 myself). It is a bit off setting to have the parents all die so young - and not very realistic in this day and age.

Anyway . . . still waiting on advice to try to save my games before they end - as my single family members get older by the minutes.
