I am on my first gen and I have two children which have gone off to college.

One of the parents died two days ago and the other died yesterday AM.

Now I can't do anything in the house. The kids haven't returned. How long does it take to turn over the house to one of the kids?

It's a bit sad to open the game and see the weeds growing, spots appearing, socks manifesting in the house and not being able to do anything about it!

If you tap the "Family" button on the main screen, you will be taken to the family tree, where you should see a button at the top labeled "New Generation." Tapping that button will take you to the screens where you can select the child who will inherit the house and bank account.

Thanks. That's not terribly intuitive particularly since my options are to adopt or pass on the kids. It doesn't make sense to adopt what is rightfully in the house.

That feature could def. use some work!

When the first parent dies, the game presents a message telling you exactly what your options are, so that you have choices about how to proceed from that point. There are many different approaches to how people want to play the game, and this was a way to allow the player the freedom of choice.

I have many glitches in my game. I have deleted and reinstalled both ways. It keeps closing on its own when I try clicking on any of the menus: details, store, etc. It didn't save the first time I played it and deleted it. I have resynced and even downloaded on wifi. I am getting irritated because I get half way and now am back to the problems. I do not want to lose my progress yet again. I paid for this game and would like it to work correctly.
