I have a problem my game is always night, but also I have vv2 lite and the art is not right on my phone, it is another app I have. Also I didn't wan to restart because I didn't want to lose my game by reinstalling.

Have you, by any chance, changed the time on your device (perhaps to speed up game play)? The game relies on the accuracy of the device's clock to operate properly. Unpredictable results can occur if adjustments are made to the clock. We have never seen the game get 'stuck' in either night or day, so I cannot tell you how to correct the problem, other than to make sure that the device's clock is always set to the correct time. You can manually switch between day and night by using the "Reverse Day/Night' setting on the Options dialog.

By 'art' are you referring to the game icon? If so, I have seen that situation occur on other iPhone applications (although I've never seen it on our games - it's usually after I've installed very large applications), and it appears to be a problem with the device's handling of app installations. When I have seen that issue, the problem has resolved itself after a few syncs with iTunes and/or device resets.

I have changed the time but when I first got it it didn't change to night at all and I was like 1 am but before I knew to change it it still didn't change at all. Both my vf and vv2 lite have the wrong art, and I have synced it twice. The people go outside to look at the stars at night, but I can't see it it is always daytime. And I don't know when they go to bed at night, they get tired early sometimes as early as 7:00. If I reinstall it will it reset and I will have to buy it again?

Edit Reason: Update: I switchedthe day, night andit stayed daytime. Also I loaded both vf and vv2 lite at the sane time, is that affecting it? They looklike other apps that I had on my phone, one that I have now and another that disappeared wheni loaded them. But I res

If you stop changing the clock on your device and let time progress normally, it's possible that the game will eventually correct itself, but it's not guaranteed, depending upon how messed up it is.

If you delete and reinstall the game, you will have to start the game over from the beginning, although you won't have to buy it again. Apple has some very good help for the App Store and fixing problems. Just go to this page on their site, scroll down and click on "App Store" under Customer Service, then select Troubleshooting Applications to see the article on Redownloading purchased apps from the App Store.

Ok I haven't changed the time in about a week now and it still doesn't change will it take way longer? I probably will try that, and see how it does. So sad though I just had twins inthe fourth generation but ok. Thanks!!!

Hi. I have been using the iPhone app of VF since it came out. One thing you may not have realized is that unlike the computer version of VF, the iPhone one never goes dark outside, even at nighttime. So it may seem like daytime around the clock, but there actually are days and nights.

Hope that helps! smile

Yes, that's very true. I didn't mention that, since the original post said that it was always night in the game.

We had to remove the 'darkness' from the iPhone version due to several technical issues.

I'm glad it doesn't go dark, actually, since the graphics are so small. I think anything, especially outside (collectibles, etc.) would be extremely difficult to see if it got dark at night. I already have to wear reading glasses over my contacts to play it. LOL!
