I noticed heads that are not showing up in the bigheads png. I've been reading the 'rare children' thread, and it is fascinating stuff. However, what about the heads not showing up on this png? For example, the man and woman with black hair streaked with bright white. A man who is completely bald. A variation on Sarah Palin without the glasses and a different hair color. There are several, and I just wondered how they got in the game if they are not showing in the bigheads png?

I think bigheads.png is only used to show the peeps' portraits in the Details screen and maybe the Family screen. The peeps in the actual game use (I think) smallheads.png. I don't have the game installed on this machine so I can't check the actual filename.

Are you sure that you're not using an image that has been 'modded' instead of the original image? All of the peeps you mention are in the game's original bigheads00.png. It's also possible that you're looking at bigheads10.png (which is the 'elderly' version of the heads, and the peeps appearance is somewhat different from the younger version).

I've just checked the image files and the filename I was thinking of is actually female_heads and male_heads, not smallheads. Also, they are divided into female_heads00.png and female_heads10.png, plus male_heads00.png and male_heads10.png as Barbara says.

I've been referring to the file image posted under the 'rare children' topic (I think on page 2). It is definitely not the older heads, but it may be modded. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Sorry for the confusion Nealsmama, I did not provide the full image file on page 2 of my topic I cropped out the heads that were not part of that specific family's natural genetics.

Basically, I was showing someone what the children should look like based on the mother and father so it doesn't show the ones at the top. I do use the original unmodded file in my game, that was just a mini tutorial for someone.

where do u find the list I've looked everywhere
