I had a adopted child whose parents died when he was 8, now he is 18 and not being terribly focused tonight, I said yes when a little orphan boy knocked on the door.
This adoption shows as if the parents adopted him although only his father/brother is the only parent he has known.
What do I do when the 18 year old goes off to college or will he be treated as a parent and stay and raise the little boy?

The 18 year old will go off to college just like always. I wish the older siblings could stay and raise a little one, but it's treated just like the parents are still around.

Wow! Your little orphan boy will be alone, it's your choice if you want to raise him like you did with the older orphan., or have the eldest take on the house when he leaves for college. Good Luck with the family!

I have done that before. It always makes me think of that movie Home Alone. So cute, but also sad, when a little kid is on their own. Just a tip... make sure the fridge is well stocked before the older one leaves.
This just happened to me. I had one 17 year old girl left in the game, a knock on the door, and an orphan. He was happy being alone in the house until he went off to college.
Thanks! I have a lot of problems with depressed people. I have had some of my poorer families be depressed for their entire lives, no matter what I buy for them.
