This particular villager will work at a task, and if she fails or is interrupted, she will return to the task. However, she has gained NO experience in any skill and is still 'untrained'. Is this because she likes playing? Will she never be trained in anything? Sorry if this has been asked, I looked and didn't see it within the first few pages. Thanks in advance!

Amber, I don't know about the liking playing thing, but I do know that if they dislike learning they can work and work and barely make progress toward their training.

Welcome to the forums, Amber! Some villagers are slow learners (there are hidden personality traits that aren't visible on the details screen). She is almost certainly gaining skill each time, but it could take up to 8 successes before you see progress on the skills meter. I've explained in detail how that works in this answer in our Support FAQ.

Oh great! Thanks I'll check it out! And she just became a trainee parent. She was too young for me to try that one until now. Apparently I just hadn't tried her at the right skill, lol.
