At midnight last night, I planted my seeds and put my game on "stop time", and went to bed. I got up this morning with 205 year old plants, two infested, and four dead. I also noticed yesterday several times, that when I pollinated seeds, I was only getting one seed ever so often to a plant, while I usually get an average of 4 seeds seeds per plant.

My question is, did this happen, because I played the game for about 13 hours yesterday, "stopping time" and exiting the game, when I was refilling the soil and seeds, from the VST, or sometimes "stopping time" and exiting the game, to check a seed, to see what it was after a cross (as I'm making my own crossing chart).

I never touch my computer clock. I do other things while my plants are growing. Usually reading and rereading posts in the forum. So I know I didn't mess the game up that way. I also always exit the game, with the "quit" button when leaving the game to open the VST and I always use the exit button on the VST.

There are several ways that could happen, besides changing the computer's clock. This answer in our Support FAQ has information that should help figure out what happened.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I see I should have just paused the game and not hit "stop time" and stayed on the options page as I did.
