It's true about real life as well as Virtual Families! At least, it is for me.

I've just spent 20 minutes or so searching all over for a lost remote for one of my families. Eventually I found it balanced on the dividing wall between the corridor and the office. While I was searching all the peeps seemed to want to watch TV, so it kept hearing a chorus of "No".

Soon afterwards I settled down to watch TV myself, only to find the remote had disappeared. Eventually I found it in between the cushions on the settee.

I remember when remotes were fairly new. At the time we could only use them to switch between three TV channels and turn the volume up or down. My dad used to insist that it always stayed on top of the TV in case it got lost. Since it was as easy to switch channels or adjust the volume at the set, we hardly used the remote!

I always have trouble with my remote because I try to keep it near me so I wouldn't lose it. Most of the time I find that I was sitting on it
