Rainbowfish Consigliere Registered: 03/18/06 Posts: 314 Loc: Central Valley, CA	Since everyone is posting pictures of real-life fish, I figured that I'd introduce you to my fish. This here is Castor, a Blackfin Cory (Corydoras leucomelas). He rests in peace in the big Pond in the Sky now. This is Callista. She's my only surviving Blackfin Cory. She was mate to Castor and Pollux. She is the mother of Pollux's only son, Andromeda. Unfortunately a velvet outbreak killed Castor and Andromeda. Pollux died in an accident involving the carbon dioxide machine. This is Callista again... doing one of her funny poses! A bad picture of Pollux. The fish looking at you above Pollux is Castor. This is Redshift, my lone male Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya). He lives happily with a harem of four girls. Redshift with two of his girls. Left to right: Greycherry, Redshift, Marachrisno. I think the fish hiding behind Marachrisno is Zipper. He'd still be around, except my father killed him by not feeding him properly when I was away on vacation. This is my beloved Ahka (Ahtahkakoop). She is an unknown species of otocinclus catfish. Pretty, isn't she? This is Cherrychaser. She's also an otocinlus catfish, but she's an known species. Otocinclus vittatus. A close up shot of Aurora's Light (It is the same picture as the one in my avatar, just a whole lotta bigger). He is a Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox). This is Nova Bright. This is also how a DNR looks when it's not trying to impress a girl or frightening off a rival male. This is what happens when two male rainbows want the same girl. She's also the second smallest at only a inch and half. The only sparkles I see are in her eyes when she finds that perfect spot of diatom algae (she's an algae-eater). As for being magical, her magic is that she's a rare breed - so rare, I still can't track it down. I think that she's either a new breed accidentally caught with other O. vittatus cats, or a crossbreed.
