Hey everyone I'm new and just purchased the game. so far so good.
But I did notice I haven't had one single event pop up.. but when something happens [i.e. the raindance completion] a pop up says I've completed it. Is there some setting I maybe have clicked or something? I don't know why none of the events have happened... they did pop up when I was playing the demo. I kind of like them...Do they happen after a day or so of playing? My village is 12 people and I have food and 1st level magic. so far. this is my 2nd day playing.

also no tablets have shown up by the rubble and the bath is 75% finished... anyone know why?

any feedback would help. thanks ;]

You will see two Island Events soon after beginning a new tribe (usually within the first hour). After that, events typically occur about once a day. It sounds like you haven't been playing long enough to see very many events, but there are some things to keep in mind: Pausing the game can reduce the number of events in the game, since time must be progressing in the game for an event to occur, and changes in the computer's system clock will disrupt the game's scheduling of events.

Ahhhhh okay no wonder.. so its common to have a few tribes going at once? Do you know if you stop one tribe will it keep going even when you switch to another tribe? Thanks for the help ;] I'll try that and I'll stop messing with the clock :x

You can play up to 5 tribes at once, since there are 5 player slots in the game. Each tribe operates independently of other tribes; you can set the speed of each tribe (or pause it) without affecting other tribes. Switching from one tribe to another 'quits' the tribe you switched out of, but time will continue to pass at the speed you've selected (unless it's paused).

As for 'messing with the clock,' you may find this answer in our Support FAQ helpful. smile
