I am really worried. My new generation has not received any marriage request and has sent me e-mails about being lonely. He is now 31. If he doesn't marry how will I get kids to continue game? I am on my 7th generation. Does anyone know how to fix?

I don't know what the problem would be, unless you don't have the newest version. There's sometimes a chance to adopt a kid even if you don't get married.

I can't remember seeing that sort of problem reported in the forum before, and it doesn't appear in the readme file giving the list of fixes up to version 1.00.05. Are you receiving 'ordinary' emails OK?

However, if you are playing an old version of the game you should update to the newest version if possible. Although the latest version was sent by LDW to all the games sites apparently some still haven't released it. You should only update your game from the site where you bought it.

I'd suggest you take a backup of the savegame files so that if the worst happens and you don't ever get any proposals (and you don't get the chance to adopt as mentioned by Safire), you will be able to try again. It is possible that reinstalling the game might help, as well.

Now that you mention it, I haven't gotten any e-mails or events when I open the game. Why would that happen all of a sudden?

It sounds like time isn't passing properly in your game. Have you changed your computer clock at all?
