I had a similar dilemma but my new Generation worked in the Office, and she wouldn't read the e-mail no matter what. She died cold and lonely, with no kids, which ended my game frown

Yeah, that same thing happened here anna.

If you have an earlier version than 1.0.05, you should look into getting the updates because there have been lots of fixes. You can see the version in the bottom-left corner along with who you bought the game from.

So sorry she had passed away without a family frown
