I am not sure how to put this so it is rated "G" on the forum LOL But I will try. One of my tribe ladies has parenting check as her preferred skill. She was nursing one child when I started the tribe.so I thought I would keep her just as a parent....

Well thats all fine she had a second child then I was trying to get her to have another with the same person. And well after a number of failed tries.. I stopped trying to get her to have any more. Then all of the sudden I heard the infamous kiss sound and she & and one of the tribesmen were going inside... long story short and bottom line is this. That attempt also faild to produce a child. But that is ALL this woman seems to do is try to have kids now and she does not always pick the same guy in the tribe. she has had I think I lost track 4 kids now... After she is done nursing one she starts trying again.... Is this a game glitch or not? Now with my young tribe is not the time to keep having kids.... I am up to 17 people I don't want anymore right now I can't wait for her to turn 50 so hse will stop.

LOL

Dr Dan just change her from parenting to something else, and she should stop making them on her own.

Once they get skill in parenting, they will put that practice to work. It's a "job" just like any other. When you get a scientist who is skilled in their work, they will continue to work on their own. So will your parent. Several players have decided not to train parents until their tribe can support the effects. What I suggest:

1. Let her continue until the tribe is maxed for your current level. She will continue to attempt "train", but she will no longer have children due to the max population.

2. Start her training on something else, such as scientist/farmer/etc. You'll have to keep an eye on her until she's at least a Trainee, (and possibly after) as she could wander off and try her old job again.

I hope this helps smile

Yeah, that's what happens when you put a checkmark next to one of the villager's skills, they prefer to do it so they'll do that on their own without you and very often.. once they have that skill done really well, they'll also do that often smile She's just doing her job!

I made the mistake of doing this to a male villager and each time I opened my game, I found all of my female workers nursing and unable to work. eek

You are correct, DrDan. The "cut off" age is 50 for having children in VV3.
