I am currently playing Virtual Families... I am thiking about also getting Virtual Villagers... What I wanted to know is ......

What is the difference win the different VV games... Should I start with one and not the other or what?? are 1 2 & 3 upgrades? ?

How does that work is each its own game?

Does anyone have any ideas as to what they like better VV or VF?

thanks Dan

In many ways the VV games are similar, and you'll also recognise lots of things that are in VF as well. As you might expect, the graphics and gameplay get a little better in each version, as LDW has found ways to improve things. The games will stand alone, although they follow on from each other they can be played in any order.

I personally prefer VF because it suits my interests more and it's more laid back while VV has a lot more things to do. Just imagine taking care of a village with a population of 90!

Think about what you personally enjoy from games more, and I'm sure it can be applied to both games or more in one of the games.

You can also always download the trials for the 3 VV games and give them all a shot! smile

I don't really think I like either better. I like them both the same (a lot). At the moment I'm playing VF mostly, and sadly neglecting the villagers in the three VV games. I only look in on them a couple of times a week. In a few months' time I expect I'll be ignoring the VF peeps because VV4 is out! laugh

This brings to mind another question in my head..... In one of my VF I only have the one adult left at home she is 63 sadly I know that her days are numbered. I am getting ready to take a bit of a vacation .... so I will be away from my PC for a few days.... I am thinking I won't pause the game while I am gone... And just let her pass away while I am gone.. Can anything happen if she dies and I have not picked the next gen yet to take over the house. I will be away for about a week

If you know she will quite likely pass away, and she's the only one in the house, the only thing that might happen is that the house might get dirtier, and you might have more weeds. Otherwise..nothing. If there's no peep in the house, then there is nobody to age. Make sense?

Oh no what am I going to do?? Well I did it I downloaded VV3 last night and started playing. I am in big trouble because it right off the bat is addictive as VF was for me... LOL There are not enough hours in the day for both LOL

One thing I did find interesting is it takes for EVER to restore a hut.... even with two peeps working on it
