Poor kid! i came back to tell u all what i saw, but u already beat me too it!! like Lewanda said just because he doesnt like eating doesnt mean he doesnt! hes the third one ive had like that the first one i was flipping out over, but he was fine! maybe VF 2 will have therapists lol

Esther.....your Paulino is a treasure....in VF math genetics terms at least. He is #48 on the male heads chart, so if you are wanting to try for blue or rainbow girl, Paulino will give you a great jump start.
Actually if one looks very very carefully, think might spot just the tinest hint of blond fuzz at the top. Remember that from VV3, as adult was bald for sure.

hmmmmmmmmmm i never thought of that gmom! ive got blond and red families, i might just start a blue one with him! so what color girl would he need to marry to get a blue one? im not good at figuring out the heads, i normally just go with colors!

When the heads aren't side by side the children that are in between the parent's heads will be the possible children, but the ones closest to the middle wwill most likely be the children.

Esther.....yes, the pale blond shown last on your picture. She is #48, as is your bald boy. So you should get peeps with heads numbered from 44 to 50 on the chart. 50 is the rainbow girl. Here's hoping the random math genetics favor your planned family.
Of course, as Pebbles said, even better would be Blue Girl #49 or Rainbow Girl #50.

I think he was too Lyssaria. He starts preparing a meal almost every time I go into the game without me having to make him do it, and he required very little training on his job. After two days he's already at level 7. They had a little rainbow girl today.  I hope they have a blue-haired girl and mohawk boy too. The little bun girl is cute too, so I'm not too picky about which babies they have.

ok i started a new generation on my 3rd family which is where Paulino is. ive rejected 66 proposals  i feel like giving up, but then i think of Lyssaria's over 1000 rejections. u are an inspiration Lyssaria! i guess i just keep looking even tho its frustrating!! yes it is funny! even as a man he looks funny!

ok what happened??????? im about to cry!! 89 proposals and i finally found rainbow. i was told putting Paulino with either rainbow, blue, or blond with a bun would result in blue kids. as u can clearly see, it didnt!! what did i do wrong??????????

Don't cry Esther. I had this same couple on my first generation (when I didn't know much about the game) and they had what the folks here are calling rainbow and blue haired girls, three rainbows and two blue haired girls. I also got a kid with a mohawk haircut (I cried when I saw that baby). I would have loved to get a cute little blond girl like you did, she's adorable, but it didn't happen. You have five more chances. Or maybe if you don't like the blond girl, you can install your savefile from before she was born and try again.

I'll put down my method for finding rare children again here for you: Windows
Go to C:/Program Files/Virtual Families and locate the Images folder.
Locate and open the bigheads00.png image, this will be our guide that we call the 'head chart' to find the children.
Mac
This only works if you did not purchase your game from BigFishGames.
Open finder and go to the Virtual Families folder, right click on the application icon and click Show Package Contents.
Open the Contents folder, then the Resources folder, and then the Images folder.
Locate and open the bigheads00.png image, this will be our guide that we call the 'head chart' to find the children.
Finding the Children
First look at the chart and number the heads vertically from 1-50. The black haired male and female at the top are number 1, and the rainbow and blue spiked hair are number 50.
Find out the number that the mother and father are in your game, add those two numbers together and divide it by two. Lets say the number you get is 28, you would count down the chart to 28 and this will likely be the couple's child both male and female.
Any children between the parents could be an expected birth but it's usually the ones closest to the middle number. If the mom and dad have the same number, the child will most likely turn out looking like the father or mother. smile The child can also come out looking like the head 1 spot above and below the parents.
The head chart cannot be used to predict all children because sometimes the game will pick a random head on the chart to be their child which is what I call a rare or random child in the family. With that information, you can see that the bald guy paired with miss rainbow will produce any of the following heads (not including rares):

It's not random Cheron, as I posted earlier on page 4 there is a formula in the game for determining the children although there is a "random" factor as a part of this formula as well.. this is when they have a child that is not one of the expected children in the formula. I suppose it does take luck to get one certain child out of all the possible ones.. This couple has 8 expected children so there is a 12.5% chance you'll get the one you want. There is also the random children that do not look like the parents or are found anywhere near the expected children which lowers the percentage.

Ajuna - I had this same couple and got some entirely different kinds of kids. First a mohawk, then two miss blues, then a rare child, then twin mohawks. For children I take whatever I get. I love your boys, what is being called the bald guy, but I think he just has a short blond crew cut, he is the BEST husband and if I had him for a child he would have inherited the house. I was spoiled by him and so I was surprised by this husband, Kin.
If there was a divorce option I would have thrown Kin out. What a loser, always three steps behind Electra, always arguing, and never working or pitching in to help, except consistently calling the children to eat after they were done eating. I don't think he got past level 3 in his career, no matter how much I praised him while he worked or set him back down to work, he always yelled NO and disappeared. I tried to ignore his care hoping he would die early, but instead he snuck food and lived to age 68. I would never pick him as a husband again, even if he did have some beautiful children. The mohawk boys did most of the work around the house, usually without even being asked.

Keep in mind how a person looks doesn't determine how they act. Each person is unique, so while your baldy was a great husband there might be other ones that are really terrible. Same thing with the blonde one, there might be one that is really sweet Mr. Baldy really is bald though, if you zoom in really close you'll see that there's not a shred of hair there.. that would be a cool mod for him though, a blond crew cut.  Lol, tada!

When we try to get them to find Mr. Spike, we aren't just letting time go by naturally.. we make a backup of our game when she gets a proposal email (don't open it), then after the backup is make check the proposal.. if it isn't Mr. Spike, reject it, go to another family and replace your save files with the backup. Rinse and repeat. If you're not sure how to make backups, read the following topic: Backing up and recovering savegame filesGood luck! This can be used to get any head, including Mr. Baldy.

I was looking back at the original posts on this thread and it was mentioned that the bald kids still wash and brush their hair, or lack thereof. Perhaps they are hoping that someday they will grow hair and they are practicing so they will know how to care for it.
