My elderly couple had 3 kids, who eventually went off to college... in the past day, they have had 3 kids knock at their door, all of whom I adopted. The first occurred when the couple was 52 and 54, the second when they were 53 and 55, and the third (about 10 minutes ago) when they were 56 and 58!!! Has this happened to anyone else?

PS: One of the adoptees looks EXACTLY like the father! Weird...

I don't think I've ever had three adoptees in one family. You're lucky! I did have one adoptee that looked just like the father though.

Must be one special set of parents to get three adoptees. One is all I have ever had. Almost wish we would get adoptees more often. 'Tis such fun to see what little one comes in that front door. Tho one of mine decided to go for a swim before meeting the family.

I've only had the adoption event 2 times total and they happened in two different families so I haven't had it too often. They must've really wanted to be with those parents!

Apparently these parents were good parents (note: they died about 20 minutes ago but I got to start a new generation! yay!) I've had the adoption event about 20 times. In fact it was one of the first things that happened to me in the game.

That's a lot of adoptions VFMF! Maybe they sense that you take great care of your peeps and want to keep coming back to your families since they trust you by now

vfmacfan, you'll mostly get the heads right in-between the mom and dad heads. In your case they're red heads.

I had twins the first time out of the chute. I've had twins now three times in 7 generations, twice in one family. I've had adoptions now three times, twice in one family. Still waiting on the triplets.

I have also gotten 3 in a kind of dormant family. Klause(adopted) and Uchitelle(birth child) looked exactly alike. Two of the three girls were twins.

The peculiar thing was, the couple were both "no way" on having kids!

@MoonStar: You are sooo lucky! The only twins I ever got were deleed when I tried to install a mod :-( . I've gotten about 3 adoptees.

I had one family get FOUR adopted kids in one generation once. I started with a woman named Jessy and shortly after she moved into the house, she adopted a girl, Meronia. Then she married Barney, and they had a biological son, Beyond. Around the same time, they got another adopted child - a boy I named Wall-E. And after they had biological son #2, Max, they still adopted a boy, Archie and later a girl, Vanilla. Needless to say I was pretty surprised after the second adoption event. Never thought it would happen twice more!

im praying for an adoptee right now..my poor little dollar..her husband and 2 kids got sick and died...( didnt leave them enough food, i feel horrible)...and she is left..this is my first family ever and if i dont get an adoptee...this family is finished!!!

maybe the one who looks like the father is his lost child!
