Im new here and thank god i found this forum. I have been playing fish tycoon for 4 days now and i doon't think i am doing very well. I am at level 2 in research and level 2 the fish enviroment, i have been breeding some fish and have got1 magic fish. but today i have been breeding different fish and can't get a lot of these baby fish past 20 years before they die and i don't know what they are, i know i have never had these ones before, but i don't even get a chance to sell them. how can i improve it so they don't die? i only have about $300 in the bank. any good advise for me.

Welcome to the forums! You'll find that the community here is very lively and helpful!

The most likely reason that your fish are dying is that you're breeding fragile hybrids that can't survive in anything but a Level 3 Fish Environment. There are other reasons that fish die, though, and you can see those in this post: Why Fish Die.

Thanks I will have to save hard for level 3 now, it seems that the supplies shop is pretty expensive. Im unsure if i am not really charging enough for my fish, maybe thats why im so poor.

thanks for the welcome, im gonna need a lot of help i think

There are a few fish that will survive in your current environment and sell for pretty good prices (more than $50). Part of the fun of the game is finding them!

well i will carry on trying then. When i go to sell in the shop the customers tend to not be impressed with the prices so then i reduce them, how long should i give them in the shop until i know they will definatly not buy?

it's an adictive game but i get so disappointed when i get some hybrids and they die, it's taking ages to save up for the level 3 research. anyway keep trying.

If you see a lot of red $ signs, that means the customers really think your prices are too high, and they're not likely to buy them. I know that it's disappointing to watch your fishies die, but if you keep track of what works and what doesn't, you can avoid repeating combinations that produce doomed babies until you have better Fish Environment.
