You can usually tell what kids will grow up to be by watching what they like to play. Playing cook = kitchen career, playing office = office career, playing in the workshop = workshop career. This can be shaped by praising and scolding, like almost everything else.
Not always true
My second son in my main family used to play cook all the time. I thought it was very cute, because both of his parents had careers in the kitchen. He grew up to be a Poet.
