I just found the 529th plant and was a little disappointed that there was no congratulatory message. After all, when I found a magic plant, a window came up to tell me what I'd discovered. When I got all 48 insects, I got a window to tell me that, and also got an insect display for the nursery. So how come there were no "bells and whistles" for finding all the plants? Other than that, I enjoy the game. And thanks for the virtual seed tray. I'm a pack rat and hate to discard anything that I might need in the future, so the VST is a big help.

Congratulations! I've been trying to get all 529 plants but am waiting for VST for Mac, which Ninja Penguin says he is working on. How long did it take for you to get all 529?

I started using VST about two months ago and it made things sooooo much easier! I bought the game in February, so it's taken me about four and a half months to get all 529, but I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer without the VST. I have 3 other games going at the same time, but I don't play all of them every day, and some days I just look for extinct seeds to buy and stockpile them till I have 7 or 8 to play with.

I've also loaded the game onto the computer I use at work and have a VST on my personal folder on the server. I only work a couple of days a week tutoring chemistry at a local community college, so those games will take a lot longer to complete. I'm hoping that if they get us new computers, the information saved in the VST will be enough so I can load the game onto a new computer and continue the ones I've started. If not, there's a whole school year ahead to start over.
