All of my original 5 people died before their children could get old enough to be trained in anything. Therefore, I now have no one with any marks on Construction. Does this mean when it comes time for them to build that no one will start on the hut? (As I had already cleared the creek before the children could work.) And supposedly when the second hut is needed they will just start on it. (My first hut is also already built before children grew up.) Please tell me I am not screwed once again. LOL Also, another small question. I had 5 villagers die, but only 4 tombstones show. And there are not bones in the center village. Why is this?

Don't worry - there are other opportunities for your young villagers to learn construction skills. Unfortunately, a villager must have at least some construction skill in order to initiate building a new hut, so you'll have to wait until you can train one of your remaining villagers in construction (you should have at least two puzzles left that would work for that). There is an Island Event that will also help you.

There are a number of reasons for a 'missing' tombstone, but the most common is this: If a villager gets 'interrupted' while burying a corpse, either by you or another villager, they will 'drop' the remains and no grave will be created.

well, kind of at a stand still as I have 15 villagers and not able to build my hut since no one has any building status. So I can have no more babies and can build no huts. Finally attained level 3 in harvesting though!!!!

Maybe you'll get lucky and there will be a storm that washes debris back onto the beach?

well, that never happened, but finally got to level three on building and am on a roll. Now just trying to earn tech points to get to level three on everything. Thanks for the help. I would have stopped a long time ago if not for the forum and seeing that others have the same questions and concerns that I do.
