I don't know about anyone else, but my mum plays this game a lot and she finds there are two types of people she relly dislikes:





Does anyone else find these extremly hard to care for??? I do, but thats because they never seem to do anything except watch TV. Mum just doesn't like the look of them.

Well, If they are always at the Tv my advice to you is to either scold them if you dislike it or just drag them on to do something else. No this has not happened to me before.. I hope my advice helps!

If you don't want them watching TV, then when the remote is somewhere other than on the table by the TV, don't have anyone return it to its rightful place. As long as it is "lost", no one can turn the TV on.

I admit the top guy isn't one of my favorites, but I have grown rather fond of the bottom one. He shows up in one of my family trees quite often and always works hard for me.

I like to leave the remote "lost" as well once I have the trophy for finding it.

If you want to get rid of those people, Lewanda made a head mod and those 2 are among them. If you download the mod they will no longer be there. You can find it in the mod section on the very bottom of the forum list.

Yeah, the top one always gives me trouble too... problem is, he pops up a lot in my families. Oh well. Haven't seen the bottom one. From experience, giving salty candy twice works REALLY well to discourage a behavior. The red glove might make them too sad.

They do need the TV to unwind from work, you could try picking them up when they are watching TV too often and praising other actions more often (praise 2 times) or praise them with candies and fruit when you can! Salty candies and the red glove will both make them sad, but if you do want to use them just make them feel better by praising them when they are good.

I don't really like those heads either, but each one of them would grow on me if they did appear in my family.

In my families there aren't any that I totally dislike, but there are in my hubby's ( Marc ) Let me introduce you to 'Satan' as he's called him lol.....I can totally see where he got that name from too! can't you just see the mischief in his face? Somehow the one's in the red tracksuits are always the worst behaved peeps we've found - so far anyway. He's always ' a bit blue' or 'depressed' despite praising him many, many times and giving him treats. He likes nothing more than to sit and skulk somewhere with his arms folded in a real little paddy with himself.

I haven't had any peeps in the red tracksuit yet, but I'll be careful when I do get one Thanks for the heads up Indigo! I did have a boy with that head and he took over the family because he was so well-behaved so I think that tracksuit must've possessed your poor Satan LOL

I had a male one time that I absolutely could not stand to look at. I decided to live with it until the child left for college and that I most certainly would NOT choose that child for the next gen. (I've never based my choice on looks before.) As luck would have it, I ended up with several children that had the same head. My frustration with it caused me to "beg" for a mod. lol

The funny thing is, after I started modding myself, I went back to the original file and simply shrank his head to fit the body better. It worked! The head is still not what I would consider to be attractive, but at least it doesn't hurt my eyes to look at it. I like having a variety of attractive and unattractive heads in the game. We can't expect them all to be gorgeous!

I think a lot of the characters are pretty unattractive. They remind me of the old "claymation" creations from years ago. I used to dislike the top head but got stuck with one eventually, and I found that when he aged and turned gray, he was really quite distinguised looking. Go figure. My big problem with most of the characters is the hair. Often it looks to me like a cheap wig hurriedly crammed onto the head. The looks of the characters seems to be an LDW thing, but it would be nice if they tried for more human-looking peeps in a future game, imho.

I had a really ugly 1 with red hair. I tried to let him die when he got sick but he lived. The ugly 1s must be tough!

What ?????? I love all the little peeps some of them sometimes do come out a little strange but that just makes them unique

I would like to add that some of the peeps that I find homely have at times become my favorite little peeps. We shouldn't judge on looks in real life, so I don't do it in the game.

I've made a considerable amount of head mods, but more and more I find myself cloning the orginal heads back in. Some of them aren't that bad looking once you see them in the game. On the other hand I've made some head mods that are downright cute and will stay with those. It's no shame to change them to your liking any more than it is the house.

When I get ready to post my next mod I'll post my newest head mods for you who feel as I do about them.

My least favorite is a male with darker red hair and pointy troll ears. He is not just unattractive; he scares me! I once had triplets of him and moaned, "Noooooo!" I refused to use him in the next generation, and I cross my fingers he won't come back. He gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I know just which one you mean. I had trips of him, too! I agree that some of them are not the most attractive peeps, but like in real life, you take the kids you get!

I like a lot the red haired peeps! I wish some of girls' heads appeared in different hair colours. And here is an idea for those of you who know how to/can mod...there are some really gorgeous looking peeps in VV, I'd love to see some of them in VF...

I had that idea already and would love to do that etinka, but the VF heads are much much higher resolution that the villager heads. If you tried to blow the villager heads up to the size of the VF heads they'd look really bad.

the top one i REALLY hated! i try not to pick him, but when i started another family, i accidentally hit marry instead of reject, i was like NOOOOOOOOOO but the good thing was he gave me triplets in the first generation without BB! after that, that head doesnt bother me as much as it used too lol

Talk about trying to grow on you esther! Lol! I do get used to some of the heads I didn't think I'd enjoy seeing in my family.. seeing them in action doing cute things and growing older really helps.

I can see why that head might have an acquired taste I could always fix his ears in my image editor, but I find that each head's imperfection gives them some sort of unique character that is fun to observe.

This is why my head files remain unmodded! Besides the glitch fixes such as the older blue-haired woman's open eyes and 2 of the older heads' beards disappearing.

The eyebrow is a little daunting He can look quite angry at times, but just like the others he's special! If you do really want it fixed up I'm sure one of us could give you the modified files.

Yeah, sorry etinka After you mentioned wanting some VV heads in VF I gave it a try to see what we could expect and it came out too blurry.. even after a lot of different methods >_<

We'd have to recreate the head using image editing which is possible, it would just take a lot more work than simply importing the heads into our game.

I don't think I've ever seen the one with the red hair and pointy ears.

Exactly! Only problem is how many projects I already have lined up with my deluxe house and dream pets >_< I would love to fix up faces people want if there is enough demand for it though!

I fixed all my unibrows and bad hairdos. I really hate a unibrow, as it makes the peep look angry all the time.

I agree with you on that Lewanda I always subconsciously feel like I did something to make them angry when I see them like that.

You're so cute Lyssa! I love how you take the game so seriously. I do too..but only to a certain extent. I tend to get pretty attached to some of my little peepers.

I really do take the game pretty seriously lol! I suppose my reasoning is my main family representing me and Sonny's "children & descendants" which got me hooked into the game on a very personal level immediately.

I'm also pretty fond of my Rainbows because of how much time and effort I've spent on them! I'm looking for Spike #5 to continue the family.

I also have one family that I am more personally attached to Lyssa. It was my very first family. The first girl was single till up in her late thirties, so I gave her lots of attention to keep her happy and have been attached to her decendants since. She was the dark haired girl with the ponytail. I thinks she's the very first head on the head image. I haven't gotten another like her since. I bought her the cat thinking it would keep her company and wouldn't think of replacing it with another pet. Her family and another are all I have open. My husband thinks I'm weird and that should stop playing the game. But I'm not about to stop playing yet. Lol!!! I want to see how many generations I can get with her.

Oh well... some of the characters are REALLY ugly and it's hard to like them as you do like the others. Well, that's just fate... and after all, they're just pixels

So, mostly, I'll let them do the wrapper/garbage/weeds jobs while I let the beautiful ones do whatever they want *lol*

Lewanda, I would love to see some new hairdo's. It is time for a little change!

Amen...I have to agree - there are a couple of heads in Vf (Satan, being one of them) that you couldn't drink cute!!

That is the head I was talking about. I just wanna say I didnt really TRY to kill the guy. He did get really sick but I gave him meds & gel. Sorry I didnt say j/k & got some ppl got mad. I like what you did with his face.

I'm glad you like him Lewanda! I didn't even have to touch his hairline, he looks great naturally just without that yellow ear and unibrow.

Yeah! I fixed some of the unibrow guys. It makes them look like different peeps. I also fix the nerdy hairdo guys, and you wouldn't believe what a new hairdo can do to them. They're so much cuter than you'd think.
