Hey all -- I'm CJ (Chelsea). I'm new to the forums and I've just begun playing Virtual Families and am really enjoying it. I guess I shouldn't say just started playing, since I'm on my 4th generation currently. I've played Virtual Villagers in the past, but I find I like the Families much more. I joined the forum because I find myself looking up answers to my questions on here somewhat frequently and I find it really helpful.

My question is - once one of your peeps reaches the Master level in their career, they continue to make money but can they only make the amount they reach at the Master level? Will they not recieve any raises or any further promotions? Thank you!

That is correct, CxJ. The highest level of promotion is Master. They will still make their current salary, but they cannot progress higher. smile

Please be sure to stop by the Introductions thread here to say hello to everyone, if you like laugh

Welcome to the forums smile

They will not increase any further in pay grade or level, but can still earn money from the work cycle that is (I believe) in addition to their daily pay. If I remember correctly, it is 1/100th of their daily pay rate for each cycle completed.

Ok, thank you for your responses! Also, if you provide any of your peeps with professional magazines once they are Masters at their career, might that cause their salary to increase at all or will it still remain the same?

I did notice the introduction area of the forum -- I'm not much for talking about myself, not to be rude smile

The professional magazines only help your peeps raise in level. It will not increase a Master's salary (or anyone else's final salary). smile
