Poor Little Orphans...

I started to play V.F. this morning, so I was checking on my 2nd to newest family, when I realized the parents had died, and they had left a four-year-old girl in the house. Pausing, I checked on another family, and realized I had another orphan: a two-year-old blue haired girl. I don't want to start the next gen. for either family; I want to see them grow up, especially miss blue. Any advice/tips/strategy? ~Elisa P.S., I need names, too.

So sorry about your parental losses. Too bad the two girls can't move in together. At least they could be playmates then so they wouldn't be so lonely.

Once the parents pass away I don't think there's anything you can do but start the new generation and forcing the little ones to grow up If you kept a backup and have a copy of when the parents were alive, you could try to keep them healthy with hand gels, vitamins, fruit, enough food overnight and of course medications when necessary. As for names, I like to switch their given name with a different one starting with the same first letter. Like if there was a little girl named Happi, I'd name her Heather or Hilary or something Good luck!

I waited a whole day for the mariage proposal, and three more because of baby boost, and hoped and crossed my fingers for a blue haired girl, and I don't think I'll start the new generation just yet... And, Lyssaria, I can't remember her original name, much less the first letter.

Sounds like your little girls will be going through a Home Alone experience Thanks for those tips BB! I wouldn't want to miss out on seeing them grow up. Elisa, instead of trying to remember the original name, you can do what I do with the name you gave her, like if her name is Blue I'd change it to Blueberry, Becky, Bella, Blair or Blossom.. some people like to use a foreign language like changing the color Blue to Bleu (French) or Azul (Spanish).

Sapphire is my birth stone I've always had an obsession with naming pets or children after birth stones such as the name I want if I have a little girl someday.. Kailey Jade! and then there's my bunny Onyx. Using themed names goes well if you want to give those out to the siblings of a family! Such as those gems and fruits ^^

I knew a real family who named there daughters Ruby, Sapphire, and Amber. The mom's name was Jewel. Coincidentally or not--their last name was Shine, lol.

Wow! I'm jealous That's exactly what I was talking about, and the last name is so perfect with it too!
