I turned on my game and I have 2 families going and neither one had any bodies. I check on them regularly and never had this happen before. Can anybody help me? Has anyone had this happen to them? thanks to anyone that can help or has any ideas.

Do you use any mods? I ask because that's the only way I can think of that the image files could have been changed. The most likely reason for your issue is that the image the game uses for the bodies is missing or corrupted somehow.

I had that happen to me. I wasn't using any mods and had not messed with the image file either. I redownloaded the game to resolve the issue and have had no problems since. Good luck.

Krystal is correct that the images for the bodies are either missing or corrupted. If you wish to verify the condition of the images, they can usually be found in Program Files\Virtual Families\Images (for Windows) or in the application bundle on a Mac (right-click, Show Package Contents, Contents, Resources, Images). Keep in mind that some game portals package the game in such a way that the Images folder is inaccessible.

I would add to knksmiles' suggestion that to successfully reinstall the game, you must download the trial from the same site where you purchased it. Activation codes from the various games sites are not compatible with downloads from another site, and installing the 'wrong' version of the game will cause it to revert to a demo.

Thanks so much for your help and ideas, I turned the game on today and to my surprise I had bodies again. I figured maybe they just decided to step out for lunch for awhile. I will keep an eye out and if this happens again I will try some of your ideas.

LOL That is kind of bizarre.. maybe the game just didn't load up properly and needed to be reopened. Next time, try finding a "Gone Fishing" sign or something. I'm glad it's all better for you now though.
