After checking your e-mail and that nasty career e-mail pops up, do not press "Okay" instead make sure you're in Windowed mode and right click on the Virtual Families tab in the task bar and choose "Close"

I actually tested it a few times before making this post and it worked for me. smile


Both of those only work in windowed mode, correct? Lyssaria, have you tried

running in full screen mode and using Alt+Tab to tab back to the desktop and then closing from the task bar? Does it work the same or does the Alt+Tab cause the email to be excepted?
